I guess this is meant to be a kind of motivational thing for the artists who put themselves down by comparing their work to others? I personally don’t think my art is amazing but I know there are more self-conscious artists who constantly put themselves down by comparing their pieces to mine and others. You can’t expect your art to be perfect from the moment you draw the first line. It takes work from the initial scribble, lots of cleaning, adjusting, etc. before it will be closer to what you want.

This is just a quick gif made from one portion of the picture I’ve been working on today, approximately 30-40 mins of progress. It’s no where near finished but it’s a definite improvement to the first sketch. For me this is actually part of the joy of art - seeing how far it will come from the initial sketch. If it came out perfect from the get go, where’s the fun in that?

Hello everyone! Due to needing some funds for con prep, I’ve decided to temporarily open $5 chibi commissions as tall as 700 pixels (or more if the hair/hat etc are poofy enough)!

Will do: fanart, OCs, etc. and multiple commissions from a single person. For OCs I’m happy to work from descriptions though pre-existing images are preferred! I will also do couple interaction pieces (i.e. two chibis interacting together rather than posed separately) though of course in this case it will be $10 to accommodate for 2 characters.
