Happy International Lolita Day!
… Yet again I am unable to actually dress up and go meet anyone for it (sob) so I’ll just draw the Snow White design again. TwT; Have fun you guys. <3
johnnytheartist asked: Talk about your guilty pleasures or talk about the best dream you've ever had.
I answered about my best dream in the last one so I’ll do the guilty pleasures then!
36: Talk about your guilty pleasures
Chilli chocolate. I am trying so hard to lose weight but chilli chocolate is the one thing I just cannot deny myself, ever. Especially San Churro’s ‘Azteca’ which is spicy Spanish hot chocolate. Mmmmmm….
Another one is… I have these three drugstore paperback bodice ripper novels that I just love for some reason. XD They are terrible books, with poor plot and ridiculous characters but I love re-reading them over and over again. Part of it might be sentimentality since I got them when I was… 10? Completely by accident since I’d just thought the covers were pretty and my parents never paid attention to what I put in the shopping cart when it came to books.
Aaaand one more is footwear. I love shoes, especially boots and cute heels. The problem is that I end up with all these beautiful shoes that unfortunately don’t match up with most of my wardrobe since I dress like a slob 90% of the time… somehow mary-janes don’t really go well with baggy jeans and a hoodie. Funny that, eh?
Len’s Blanche that I originally painted in BW last year but never got around to colouring until today. ^^; Did some tweaking but overall I’m happyish with it.
Chibi Noir because brain refuses to cooperate for much else today sob.
I am happy to introduce my first art class that will be provided in cooperation with skillshare.com - Character Concept Art: From Grayscale to Full Color Illustration. The class is currently being prepared and it will introduce the digital painting technique I use most of the time for…
Seriously you guys, if you’re following me and DON’T know who Len-yan is, it is time you learned. This woman is amazing at character art and has so much knowledge to share. This class isn’t for specifically advanced students - if you’re just starting out in drawing on computer or learning how to use Photoshop or even just want to see how grayscale to colour can be done in a manner that you can apply to different media (including paints, this is originally a traditional PAINTING method) you should seriously consider taking this class.
Hurry though - if you want a discount on the class (which is cheap enough already, c’mon), you can use the discount code she’s listed and get 20% off so long as you register by next Friday.
Hope some of you consider taking the classes (you won’t regret it) and please, spread the word around!
